It has everything you need to get started including descriptions of the activities and contacts for associations , clubs and organizations. The information is fact based and does not give personal accounts or experiences.

2. Who is this book for?

This book is for the active person living in or visiting the Toronto area.

3. What geographical area does it cover?

There are no specific geographical boundaries for The Toronto Adventure and Recreation Guide. All of the activies written about are within a reasonable drive from Toronto. For example, activities include rafting near Ottawa, wine tasting in Niagara and scuba diving in Tobermory.

4. How was the information collected?

The research was collected over months by contacting organizations, associations, tourism bureaus and the Internet. Many of the organizations were not aware that the contact was in fact to write this guide and the information we received as potential consumers is what is being passed on to the reader.

5. How is it laid out?

Each category starts with a description of the activity and what is needed to get started. It is then followed by details on various associations, clubs and organization including a description of the services, contact numbers and addresses.

6. Do organizations pay for listings?

No. The organization do not pay for listings, nor do they have any editorial control over the content of the listing. Limited advertisement space was made available to organizations that were included in the guide. The inclusion of advertisements did not effect the editorial content about that organization.

6. How does my company appear in the next edition?
